Radeon 8550 unter SuSE 8.2

    Hallo

    Ich hab SuSE 8.2 mit Linux 2.4.20. Außerdem habe ich eine ATI Radeon 8550, die ich aber nicht zum laufen bekomme. Tuxkart und solche Spiele laufen ruckelig. UT 2004 steigt beim laden der Karten immer aus.
    Ich bin ratlos, was es sein könnte und habe auch schon seit Wochen in Foren gestöbert und nichts brauchbares gefunden. Also ein paar Infos:
    XFree83 4.3.0 mit fglrx 3.7.6 für selbiges XFree
    Ich habe eigentlich alles nach Anleitung installiert und auch konfiguriert. Nix mit mesa oder so, sondern der ATI Treiber läuft. Trotzdem will nichts funktionieren. Also hab ich mal versucht, den neuen Treiber zu installieren. Da passiert folgendes:

    Fehler: fehlgeschlagene Paket-Abhängigkeiten:
    fglrx-glc22 steht im Konflikt mit fglrx-4.3.0-3.9.0
    Was dieses glc22 ist, weiß ich nicht mehr genau, oder gar wozu ich es brauchte. ich weiß auch nicht, ob ich es einfach deinstallieren kann. Ich bin halt ratlos und dankbar für jede Hilfe.

    Ja, der Treiber läuft. Aber trotzdem wollen die Spiele nicht. Das ist eben mein Problem.

    Welches Logfile von x wollt ihr? Die XFree.0.log zum Beispiel? Die ist Ellenlang.

    Also GLXGears rennt aber vernünftig, von daher scheint die 3D Beschleunigung zu funktionieren.

    Hmm also deine /etc/X11/XF86Config wäre vielleicht auch noch sehenswert ... poste die auchmal !

    Ich hab noch mal nachgesehen. Tuxkart geht doch. Tuxracer und ut2004 stürzen ab. Und mit Winex will auch nur Diablo2 wobei da die Fehler ja viele Ursachen haben können.

    Hat noch jemand eine Ahnung, warum bei mir Unreal nicht will? Es stürzt beim Laden der Karten immer ab und wenn ich bei den Optionen was grafisches ändere stürzt er auch ab. Ich hab auch schon in der ini die Grafik runtergestellt, hat aber nichts gebracht.

    ich hab da so eine Befüchtung.
    Existiert die libglx.so unter usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions ? Bzw. ist das n Link auf ne ATI-lib?
    Zeigt die usr/lib/libGL.so auch auf ne ATI-lib?

    Gibt's irgendwo sonst ne libglx.a-irgendwas? Wenn ja, bieg den Link darauf mal um und starte den X-Server nochmal neu ...

    Hab SuSEupdate auf 9.1 gemacht. Erst ging Treiber 3.9.0 gar nicht, aber fand mit google was. ( http://www.linux-club.de/viewtopic.php?t=8137 ). Jetzt geht Unreal. Nur der Sound will noch nicht, aber da suche ich erstmal selber.
