Hallo,
erstmal möchte ich mich entschuldigen, wenn die Hilfeschreie von Anfängern wie mir vielleicht nerven. Aber ich habe versucht die SuFu und Google zu benutzen, habe leider zu wenig Vokabular-Ahnung, um Antworten zu finden.
Hier mein Problem:
Ich habe mir R-2.4.0 als *.tar.gz datei runergeladen, da es bei Yast und Apt nicht drin war. Bei dieser Gelegenheit: Ich benutzte SUSE 10.1
Dannach habe ich es mit tar - xzf R-2.4.0.tar.gz nach usr/local/programs/R-2.4.0 entpackt
(weiß auch nicht wo man sonst so Programme hinpacken sollte?---Hint? )
Nun das Dilemma: In der INSTALL steht ich soll ./configure laufen lassen, das sieht so aus:
Das sagt mir leider überhaupt nicht, was ich nun machen soll
und der weitere Schritt mit "make" macht das hier:
Da ich als Refferenz nur meine mitgelieferten Dokumentationen habe, und die mir nur sagen: machen sie ./configure und dann make, komme ich natürlich nicht weiter.
Ich bin euch echt Dankbar für Tipps, bräuchte das Program für mein Studium.

und der weitere Schritt mit "make" macht das hier:

make: *** Keine Targets angegeben und keine »make«-Steuerdatei gefunden. Schluss.
