Probleme beim compilieren von kopete

Nach einem Update von kopete via apt funktioniert es nicht mehr. Ich habe mir jetzt die neuste Version von der Homepage heruntergeladen. Wenn ich es jetzt von Hand compilieren will bricht er mit dem Kommentar ab:

Wo gebe ich den Pfad an? Ist der normale Pfad meiner X-Installation gemeint, oder ein Anderer?

Sieht so aus als fehlen dir die Headerdateien.

Such mal nach sowas wie 'libx11-dev'
 
Daran lag es leider nicht. Habe die Bibliotheken nachinstalliert, aber der Compiler bricht noch immer ab.

Gibt es eine log-Datei die solche Vorgänge genauer dokumentiert? Denn nur aus dieser Fehlermeldung werde ich nicht schlau.

Poste mal was bei

ls /usr/X11R6/include/X11

rauskommt.

Kann es sein das du das Paket x-window-system-dev nicht installiert hast?
Such mal nach dem Paket, das müsste so oder so ähnlich heissen.
 
zu 1. In meinem /usr/X11R6 Pfad befinden sich nur zwei Verzeichnisse namens lib und bin.

zu 2. das Packet x-window-system-dev findet apt bei mir nicht. Habe bis auf die Backports alle Packetquellen die kubuntu standardmäßig einträgt aktiviert.
x-window-core ist installiert, falls das weiterhilft. Sonst ist nicht dev artiges dabei, was mit x und window zusammenhängt

x-window-syste-dev ist schon das richtige das findest du auch unter yast und kannst es von dort aus installieren habe das selbe problem gehabt.
