    habe mal versucht meine xorg.conf mit Hand zu schreiben, leider kriege ich den zweiten Monitor nicht an, was mache ich falsch?

    Hm, ok ich habe folgendes Problem:

    Ich habe eine 19" 16:9 LCD und einen 17" 4:3 CRT

    Beide sollen laufen, und ich hätte gerne die Funktion, Fenster auf nur einem Monitor maximiewren zu können, so will ich z.B. beim Proggen andere Fenster auslagern.

    Hatte Twin View mit den Nvidia Treibern gangbar, da hatte ich neben dem Problem, dass ich keine Auflösungskombination gefunden habe, die gleiche vertikale Werte hat, und das ein Maximieren das Fenster auf beide Monitore erweitert. Ich dachte da eher da das Prinzip wie in Windows.

    Geht das denn mit Twin View?

    Wie ich sehe, hast du ne Nvidia Karte.
    Ich glaube, da gibt es extra grafische Progs für die Konfiguration von Karten von diesem Hersteller.
