    Beim installieren von VLC und Super Karamba ist ein Fehler aufgetreten.

    Wieso versuchst Du denn, den ganzen Kladderadatsch per Hand zu installieren? Nutze doch einfach Deine Paketverwaltung, bevor Du Dich in Abhängigkeiten verhedderst. Und ob die Installation von libmad tatsächlich funktioniert hat, geht aus Deinen Codes nicht hervor. Zudem könntest Du Deine SuSE-Version mal angeben (wieso nutzt hier eigentlich kaum einer die Möglichkeit, die Daten in seinem Profil anzugeben?).

    Wie meinst du das Paketverwaltung?
    Meinst du mit Yast?
    Es ist kein einfaches *.sh file sondern ein ganzer Ordner, den man normalerweise zuerst ./configure muss

    Es geht nicht hervor ob es installiert wurde? Mehr ist steht da allerdings nicht.

    Exacto - allerdings müssten sowohl der VLC als auch Superkaramba bei Dir längst installiert sein; zumindest sind beide bei der 10.1 dabei (soweit ich mich erinnere).

    Wenn ich das richtig sehe, hast Du doch lediglich './configure' ausgeführt - damit wird doch noch nichts installiert.

    Nein VLC und Superkaramba sind leider nicht installiert!
    Zumindest kann ich VLC unter Multimedia (verwende KDE) und Superkaramba auch nirgendwo finden!

    Wie installiere ich einen ganzen Ordner mit Yast?
    Weiß nur das man bei *.sh files rechtsklick und dann mit Yast installieren tun muss!

    Also ich hab jetzt PackMan als installationsquelle hinzugefügt!

    Hab auch das *.rpm Paket heruntergeladen auf das du verlinkt hast (vlc 0.8.6).
    Als ich das allerdings installieren will (mit rechtsklick und öffnen mit installieren von Software) kommt der Fehler: No installable Package were found

    habs bereits probiert neu herunterzuladen, es kommt aber immer der gleiche fehler
    Probier ich es mit Yast installieren kommt folgender Fehler:

    1) Erstmal brauchst Du gar nichts extra herunterladen. Einfach in YaST das gesuchte Programm suchen und auswählen. Herunterladen tut YaST dann selber.

    2) Du hast schon darauf geachtet, dass Du die richtige Version (nämlich für SuSE 10.1) herunterlädst? Darauf brauchst Du übrigens nicht zu achten, wenn Du wie unter Punkt 1) beschrieben installierst.

    3) hab ich wo gelesen, dass die CD´s der SuSE 10.1 nicht vollständig sind. Füge auch mal die offiziellen Packetquellen dazu. Vielleicht geht´s dann.

    4) würde ich Dir noch empfehlen, auch Guru und Scorot als Installationsquelle hinzuzufügen (findest Du auch im Link unter 3) ).

    Jetzt kann ich sogut wie jedes Programm mit Yast installieren :D

    Auch wenn ein paar ftp Server bei mir nicht richtig funktionieren -.- ....wahrscheinlich hab ich sie irgendwie falsch angegeben.

    Aber gerne doch. Freut mich, wenn ich helfen konnte :)

    Einen Tip noch: vor der Installation die Installationsquellen, die Du nicht brauchst, deaktivieren. Dann dauert das Einlesen der Packetinformationen nicht so lange. Das geht bei SuSE 9.3 unter:
    YaST -> Software -> Installationsquelle wechseln
    Dort Einstellung ändern über die Aktivieren oder Deaktivieren Schaltfläche.

    Außerdem solltest Du den Status der aktiven Installationsquellen vor jeder Installation aktualisieren. Sonst kann´s beim Download zu Fehlermeldungen kommen. Du findest das unter:
    YaST -> Software -> Installationsquelle wechseln
    Dort auf Bearbeiten -> Status aktualisieren.
    Musst halt mal suchen, wo sich das unter 10.1 befindet.

    Huch, jetzt sind´s doch zwei Tips geworden :D
