Hallo,
ich versuche die openSuSE 10.0 auf dem Alsi MD8800 (Pentium D 830) ans Laufen zu bringen. Gemäß Vorschalg des Installers ist der Kernel der 2.6.13-15.8-smp. Wenn ich dann ohne Kernel-parameter boote, hängt sich die Kiste während dem Start von 'powersaved' in init 3 auf. Ich habe ein wenig mit den Kernel-Parameter rumgespielt und rausgefunden, dass mit 'acpi=on maxcpus=0' oder 'acpi=off maxcpus=2' soweit alles glatt geht.Ich würde aber gern beides benutzen. Hat jemand eine Idee ? Für den Fall 'acpi=off maxcpus=2' s.u. für die Ausgabe von /proc/cpuinfo....
