open solaris fährt zwar runter rechner schaltet sich aber nur manchmal aus

    also ich bin noch relativ neu in der unix welt, hab halt auf meinem nettop (msi wind, 1 gb ram und mit atom cpu und dem ganzen spass) opensolaris 2008.11 habs auch schon zweimal installiert gehabt aber problem blieb gleich. Sobald ich die kiste runterfahre is das wie ein lotteriespiel, erstmal is schon komisch dass der bildschirm weiß wird. und dann macht das system nach ner halben minute dohc noch was, da ein paar zeilen eingeblendet werden (sieht auch sehr seltsam aus die zeilen sind dann schwarz hinterlegt mit weisser schrift).
    Doch dann passiert manchmal nichts, also er schaltet sich ca. in 50 prozent der fälle aus und in der anderen hälfte der fälle passiert nichts.

    weiss einer rat?

    Hallo Jay!
    Wenn dein dein System nach dem Herunterfahren diese zwei Zeilen
    anzeigt, was steht denn da drin?
    Immer das gleiche? und wenn ja, was?

    Ich vermute,das dein Kernel nicht so ganz mit der Hardware zurechtkommt,
    und daas die entsprechende Fehlermeldung ist.

    das mit dem, dass solaris beim runterfahren nich sonderlich schnell ist, zieht aber irgendwie nich, er schaltet sich ja in 50 prozent der fälle aus, und das geht dann eigentlich noch relativ zügig und in der anderen hälfte der fälle kann man den 6 stunden weiter laufen (ich habs getestet) und es passiert nichts mehr.
    Naja und das mit dem weissen Bildschirm war bei meiner ersten Solaris installation nicht so, das kam das erst als sich das system nen update ausm inet geholt hat.
    Ok aber trotzdem danke, ich werd das mit dem gdm fixen mal testen.
