Okay, woher kommst du an diese angabe?

Wenn der Pfad richtig ist, dann mach ein rm -r /media/sda1/var/log, was ich allerdings kaum glauben kann da das ja deine Root-Partition ist.

was passiert denn bei einem ls -la /var ? Ich gleube es handelt sich hier um eine Banalität. - Wie auch immer, lass dich nicht unterkriegen!

Huch, da hast du ja gar kein /var/log... Wo ist denn das kernel.log?

Edit: Hast du das Verzeichnis vielleicht schon gelöscht? rm -r /var/log gibt keine Ausgabe wenn es fertig ist.

Naja wie auch immer, wenn du deine menu.lst postest kann ich dir sagen wo du deine Parameter eintragen mußt, um es dauerhaft zu speichern.

Der Buffer I/O Error bei sdd1 ist schon etwas sonderbar. Hast du eine CD in einem Laufwerk?

Sieht doch einigermaßen gut aus. Merkst du jetzt noch signifikante Änderungen in der Dateigröße der Logs? - Wenn nicht ist erst mal alles in Butter. Das IRQ - bzw ACPI-Problem kann man ja nachher immer noch lösen. :)

Laß es mal einige Minuten laufen und sieh nochmal nach..

Damit kannst du deine Kernel-Parameter dauerhaft speichern. Den zweiten Eintrag den du hast, memtest, ist um deinen Arbeitsspeicher auf Fehler zu untersuchen.

Edit: Die Zeilen die mit # anfangen sind nur Kommentare und werden vom System nicht berücksichtigt.

Edit2: Also hinter vga=0 ein Leerzeichen und dann acpi=off noapci eintragen.

Nachfragen wenn Probleme auftauchen. :D

Das hab ich dir ja gerade gezeigt ;-)

Ganz unten in deiner menu.lst. wenn du als root ein nano /boot/grub/menu.lst durchführst, hast du deine menu.lst im editor.

Dort gehst du bis zu der stelle die ich dir gezeigt hab, dann trägst du acpi=off noapci ein, so wie es im vorigen Beitrag steht. (Zum speichern STRG+X und j wie ja, oder y wie yes. - Je nach dem auf welcher sprache du dein System hast.) y wird auf jeden Fall funktionieren. - Danach Enter

Wenn du das erledigt hast, mach einen reboot und deine Probleme dürften der Vergangenheit angehören.

Edit: Du mußt in dem Fenster ganz nach rechts gehen um meine Eintragungen zu sehen...

Wie gesagt, wenn Probleme auftauchen, sofort melden. :D

Das bedeutet dass du das kommando "nano" nicht hast. Mit vi würd ich es nicht versuchen, das wäre etwas viel des guten...

Welche Desktop-umgebung benutzt du? KDE, Gnome oder doch was anderes?

Zur Not kannst du ein apt-get install nano ausführen um das Programm auf deinen Rechner zu bekommen.

Bist wohl auch ein Nachtmensch? ;) Wenn du noch kraft hast können wir das lösen. Versuch mal das mit dem apt-get. Wenn Sidux auf Debian beruht wird das klappen, wenn nicht, poste mal die Ausgabe...

Okay, wenn du KDE verwendest, was passiert denn bei einem sudo kate /boot/grub/menu.lst ? Das ist nur geraten, denn ich weiß nicht ob es den sudo Befehl in Sidux gibt.

Zur not, mach ein chmod 777 /boot/grub/menu.lst, dann als normaler user ein kate /boot/grub/menu.lst (nicht als Root, sonst öffnet sich das Fenster nicht)

Wenn du wieder kraft geammelt hast kann man das ACPI-Problem angehen. Dein ACPI (So sachen wie dein Power-Knopf und deine Energiespar-Optionen) funktioniert nicht so richtig. Allerdings ist das nix dramatisches.

Wenn dein Sys so funktioniert ist der Rest eigentlich ein Klaks. :P Glückwunsch!

Edit: was sagt denn lspci | grep VGA ? Damit kann ich deinen Grafikchip identifizieren...

ich hab noch einen falschen treiber drauf ne der muss noch runter

ich muss noch sagen ich hab einen treiber für 32 bit version von linux die64 geht nicht

Was für einen Treiber hast du denn? Poste doch mal die xorg.conf: cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Das würde viel weiterhelfen. Von wann ist die Karte denn? Schon älter? ATI macht laut meiner Erfahrung öfters probleme. - Allerdings keine unlöslichen...
