Komme mit der installation nicht klar

Na toll, ich hab es jetzt ganz genauso eingegeben und drücke Enter, dann gelange ich in die nächste Zeile und nichts passiert!!

Wie soll ich mich damit auseinander setzen, wenn ich nichmal die Grundfunktion verstehe, bzw. keine annährernd verständliche Anleitung finde

PS: Bei STRG + O erscheint: Filename to Write
 
Ist nano den installiert?

apt-get install nano

Selbstverständlich als root.
 
falls du dich mit nano nicht auskennst .. was ja auch verständlich ist - nano / vi(m) / emacs :P / sind net grad die einfachsten Editoren - versuchs mal mit mcedit .. das funzt so wie der M$ editor im dos .. also einfach
 
dann kann er auch gleich noch MC installieren ... das ist so ein "Norton Commander" Clone ... naja schon fast kein clone mehr :)

aber mal nur so in den raum geworfen, warum installiert JEMAND Debian, der keine Ahnung von Linux hatt ?
(Ich weiß diese Fragen kommen immer wieder !!!)
 
Ich finde es nicht so schlimm, da man dort eigentlich die echten erfahrungen machen kann. Bei den großen Distris wir zuviel abgenommen. Das ist alles so Windows-like.

Nagut dann sollte er aber das "Handbuch" lesen oder sie die howtos angucken !

mal gentoo probieren, denn dort wird die installation von VORNE bis HINTEN vorgekaut !
Da muß er nur nachtippen und eigentlich nicht mal mitdenken wenn es ihn nicht interesiert !

Ich hab schön braf alles nach handbuch gemacht, und ja auch die Installation gut hinbekommen, ich hänge nur eben bei diesem "no screens found" fehler, den ich nicht im Handbuch gefunden habe!

Was ist dieses MC Edit

Da steht was von Multible Choice Test, was soll ich denn damit, oder hat meiner einer was falsches runtergeladen?
 
Devilz, das System ist ja bereits Installiert, nur bekomme ich bei startx eben die Meldung no screens found

Was soll ich da mit deiner Installationsanleitung??

Ich hab das vorhin runtergeladen, entpackt und dann einfach das Dos Fenster geöffnet

Auch wenn dir das kleinlich scheint, aber das ist die Konsole. Es gibt erhebliche Unterschiede. Nur die Optik ist evtl. gleich ;)

Zum Thema:

Du sagst, nano startet nicht. Ich gehe mal von einer nicht installation aus.
Du mußt einfach in der Konsole als root

apt-get install nano

eingeben. nano sollte nun installiert sein. Dann kannst du mit

nano /etc/X11/XF86Config-4

die Datei editieren.
 
verlasse nano. dann steht sowas in der richtung:

nickname@host pfad $

da.

dort gibst du ein: nano /etc/X11/XF86Config-4

Natürlich alles als root, weil sonst kannst du nichts ändern.
 
lol Leute ich bin vielleicht hohl, ich hab Nano runtergeladen und unter Windows ausgeführt, und mich gewundert warum da nichts kommt lol

So jetzt hab ich das mal unter Debian gemacht, wohl auch etwas schlauer, und wer hätte das gedacht, es ging.

Ich hab jetzt das Zeugs geändert, aber ich hab immer noch "no screens found"

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob deine Grafikkarte wirklich mit den nv Treibern läuft.
Gib mal in die Konsole ein:

unter VGA Compatible controller, was steht da?
