grub nach "fixmbr" wieder in den MBR schreiben

hallo.
Mein Problem habe ich ja im Titel schon geschildert.

Pc:

Festplatte 60 Gb:

-Suse 10.0 => 14 Gb
-Swap => 1Gb

-Windows XP =>Rest


grub-install /dev/hda
=> Could not find device for /boot: Not found or not a block device.

grub> root (hd0,0) # Windowspartition

Error 17: Cannot mount selected partition


grub> root (hd0,6) #Linuxpartition
Filesystem type is ReiserFs, partition type 0x83

Also, dass war das, was ich schon versucht habe (desweiteren google, unixboard, gentoo-forum,etc.)

Wäre sehr dankbar für etwaige Vorschläge
