fglrx ATI Treiber

Hallo Leute

ich hab' da so ein kleines Problem bei der Installation des ATI Grafikkartentreibers...

Von der ATI Site habe ich mir den X.org Treiber gezogen und mittels alien in ein .deb Packet umgewandelt.

Dann bin ich in die Konsole gewechselt und hab als root folgende Befehle eingegeben:

init 3
dpkg -i --force-overwrite fglrx-6-8-0_8.12.10-2_i386.deb

Es wurden sämtliche Dateien kopiert mit dem Hinweis, dass Packete überschrieben wurden oder so ähnlich.

Dannach bin ich in's /lib/modules/fglrx Verzeichnis gewechselt und hab die make.sh und die make_install.sh ausgeführt.

Zu guter letzt bin ich die fglrxconfig durchgegangen und hab rebootet.
Der X Server läuft auch, bloss die 3D Beschleunigung will nicht so wirklich.

Immer wenn ich mit glxinfo | grep "rendering" den 3D Status abfragen will, erhalte ich folgende Fehlermeldung...

glxinfo: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file oder directory

OK, was sacht uns das... libGL existiert nicht, aber was muss ich anstellen damit ich sie habe?
Unter SuSE Linux 9.2 funktionierte diese Prozedur einwandfrei.

So ich habs nachdem ich das formatiert hab endlich geschafft.

Das sind die Schritte die ich gemacht hab.

1. apt-get install fglrx-driver
2. in der /usr/src/fglrx make.sh und make_install.sh ausgeführt
3. dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg ausgeführt
3a da damit die 3D Beschleunigung immernoch nicht lief hab ich die xorg.conf gebackuppt und mit fglrxconfig eine neue xorg.conf erstellt. da die aber irgendwie nicht voll kompatibel zur alten ist hab ich aus der fglrx xorg.conf Version den Device part in die alte xorg.conf rüber kopiert.
4. Siehe da, glxinfo | grep "rendering" zeigt an dass die 3D Beschleunigung aktiviert ist *freu*

Ich hoffe dieses mini Howto hilft allen anderen die es bis jetzt noch nicht geschafft haben den ATI Treiber zu installieren.
