    Hallo,
    ich habe ein Suse Linux 10 und meine W-Lan karte isntalliert. Nach einigen versuchen hat sich herausgestellt was der Fehler ist.
    Nur eine lösung konnte mir keiner sagen nur sagen das ich googlen sollte.

    Da ich echt kp habe was ich da googlen könne hoffe ich das einer von euch mir sagen kann wonach ich googlen soll oder gar eine lösung hat

    Danke habe ein bissel gegogelt nun eigentlich müsste es jetzt gehen nur ich habe einen neuen Fehler

    Er erkennt meine Wlan un. Wenn ich sie abziehe dann erkennt er auch das keine da ist.


    Nun kommt dies wenn ich modeprobe mache.

    Sieht so aus, als wuerden die Probleme beim p80211-Modul liegen. Evtl. das vorher mal per Hand laden. Kann es sein, dass du gerade den Stick an einen USB1-Anschluss haengen willst? Nen aehnliches Problem hatte ich auch. Erledigte sich sofort, als ich nen USB2-Anschluss nutzte.

    Das ist schon recht viel.

    Diese Ausgabe enthaelt jetzt alle Symbole, welche als unknown bezeichnet wurden (der Kernel also gemaess insmod nicht kennt (dies aber eigentlich nicht zutrifft)).
    Du kannst jedoch erkennen, dass der Buchstabe T am Beispiel von p80211skb_rxmeta_attach darauf hinweist, dass die Funktion grundsaetzlich von einem Modul ansprechbar ist (nicht als static implementiert).

    Das Problem muss also in der Versionsnummerierung und oder den Parametern liegen, denn das ist die zweite Meldung, welche dmesg neben dem unknown ausgibt.

    Um weiter zu kommen sind folgende Informationen von Interesse:

    1. Was fuer eine verwendete Distribution und Kernel (uname -r) (mit Version und letztem Patchstand)
    2. Woher ist das Modul prism2_usb.ko ?
    3. Ist der Kernel selbst uebersetzt oder Standardkernel?

    4. Lies bitte mal http://www.users.bigpond.com/vkelim/SuSE_notes/node74.html durch

    Bezueglich deiner Mail: bitte beachte, dass ich nicht viel Zeit habe, und deshalb dann antworte, wenn ich Zeit dazu finde.

    sorry wegen der Mail dachte nur das du evt nicht mehr ins Forum kuckst.

    1. meine Kernel ist die Standart Kernel von Suse Linux 10 und auch die standert Kernel Scource die ich über Yast installiert habe

    2. Omg ich glaube du meinst linux-wlan-ng-0.2.3.tar.bz2. Habe auch die Firmware für Prisma 2 installiert

    3 an der Kernel hab ich nichts gemacht
