Falsche Bildschirmauflösung nach Beamernutzung

hallo,

auf meinem laptop läuft opensuse 10.3 und kde, und das bislang meistens ohne große probleme. neulich hab ich zum ersten mal einen beamer über den externen-monitor-anschluss benutzt. also mit sax2 dual-head-mode aktiviert und bildschirmauflösung von 1280x800 auf 1024x768 geändert (wollte der beamer), alles ok, beamer funzt.

jetzt mein problem: beamer ist inzwischen wieder abgebaut und ich würde wieder gerne meine ursprüngliche auflösung einstellen. über sax2 versuche ich den dual-head-mode wieder rauszunehmen und die auflösung zu ändern - der test funzt auch jedesmal problemlos, nur wenn ich dann "speichern" drücke, wird der bildschirm schwarz, dann kommen ein paar bunte streifen und der rechner reagiert auf gar nichts mehr...

Ich hab das spiel jetzt schon mehrmals hinter mir. weiß jemand, was da lost ist??

Hast du - sofern du damit vertraut bist - denn auch einmal versucht, den 2. Bildschirm in der xorg.conf selbst zu entfernen und die Auflösung umzustellen? Wenn nicht, würde ich das versuchen.

naja, "vertraut" wäre übertrieben. hab sie mir eben schon mal angeschaut, da es einen zweiten thread mit nem ähnlichen problem gibt. ich häng den entsprechenden ausschnitt der xorg.conf an, da kann ich allerdings gar nichts von einem zweiten monitor erkennen :

durch Neuinstallation. Das ist zwar brutal, aber die Auflösung ging mir auf die Nerven...
