emacs Schriftgröße

Morgen!

Ich bin im Bereich emacs noch ein ziemlicher Neuling und habe noch ein paar kleine Probleme.
Die Schriftgröße von emacs ist mir eine Spur zu groß. Wie kann ich diese unter emacs ändern?

GNU Emacs oder XEmacs?

In GNU Emacs machst du das mit

und in XEmacs klappt es mit

So kompliziert ...

Hallo Forum,

ich habe vor etwa einem Monat GNU Emacs mit dieser Methode die Schrift versucht zu vergrößern (ch benutze Debian Etch), bekomme es aber nicht hin. Egal, was ich tue, es ändert sich überhaupt nichts!

Jetzt sitze ich als Anfänger von Emacs wieder vor dem Rechner und die Schrift ist so winzig, dass es das Schreiben und Lesen sehr unangenehm macht. Ich habe jetzt den Muster von UniXs letzten Beitrag in die Datei .emacs eingefügt (vielleicht in die falsche Stelle?) und habe die Zahlen usw. versucht anzupassen, aber es bewirkt überhautp nichts. Ich muss etwas ganz falsch gemacht haben.

Könnt ihr mir weiter helfen? Ich poste meine Datei .emacs einfach mal so wie sie ist hier hin, dann sieht ihr bestimmt sofort, wo ich Unsinn gebaut habe. Bin sehr dankbar für jeden Tipp und oder Vorschlag.

Hi,

also prinzipiell wuerde es schon helfen wenn du die smileys entfernst, und den code richtig einrueckst, das kann ja so keiner lesen.
Darueber hinaus hast du nicht gesagt ob du denn emacs oder Xemacs benutzt. Standardmaessig wird Xemacs installiert, wenn ich mich nicht irre. In dem Fall musst du wahrscheinlich eine andere Datei editieren. Ich benutze selber kein Xemacs.

Ich wuerde insbesondere mal versuchen im laufenden Betrieb den Font zu aendern, dann hast schonmal einen weiteren Anhaltspunkt ob es am falschen Font liegt, oder an einer falschen config Datei.
