Breitbild Auflösung - Suse 10.2

Hallo, ich bin noch relativ neu im umgang mit Suse, arbeite erst ca 1 Monat damit.
Habe aber trotzdem schon Probleme und zwar folgendes:

Ich habe Suse vorher an einem 17" TFT mit einer Auflösung von 1024x768 betrieben.
Jetzt habe ich mir einen Flachbild Fernseher mit VGA eingang gekauft, klappt auch
Wunderbar bis auf die sache das der Fernseher im Breitbildformat ist und die Auflösung
von Suse mit 1024x768 ein 4:3 Bild liefert welches dann gestreckt angezeigt wird.
In Yast habe ich folgenden Monitor eingestellt: "--> LCD 1280x768@60Hz".
Meine Grafikkarte ist eine ATI 9600 Pro die als "ATI RV350 AP" erkannt wird.
